German food, the plant-based way
Most visitors know German food from beer gardens and Christmas markets. In our classes you learn how the dishes behind it are actually cooked: the hearty, honest kind of cooking people in this region grow up with. The difference is that everything is made without animal products, so it works for vegans, vegetarians and anyone who simply wants to eat a bit more plant-based.
Veganwolf is a cooking school, but not a classroom. Nobody stands at the front and lectures. You cook side by side in small groups, ask questions, taste as you go and finish the evening at one big table.

Do I need cooking experience?
No. Everyone cooks together, step by step, and nobody needs to know anything in advance. Beginners are very welcome.
Is everything vegan?
Yes, everything we cook is 100 % plant-based. You do not have to be vegan to join, many of our guests are not.
What is included?
As in all our classes: all ingredients, drinks during the class and the recipes to take home. At the end you sit down together and eat what your group has cooked.
How much does a private class cost?
That depends on your group size, the date and the menu. Send us a short request and we will reply with a proposal in English.
Where are you located?
At Bleichestraße 2, 79102 Freiburg, in the Oberau district. The tram stop Alter Messplatz is a few minutes' walk away, and the main train station is about ten minutes by tram.
